Temporary Covid-19 Protocols

Following the Covid-19 outbreak, and in accordance with government guidelines, I am now able to resume face-to-face sessions at Greenhithe Therapy Centre.

In order to maintain your safety and the safety of others, please take note of the following measures:

Arrival at the clinic

  • Please BRING ALONG A FACE COVERING to be worn when entering the building. If you do not have a face covering, I am able to provide this for you.

  • Due to the fact that other practitioners and their clients may be using the building at the same time as us, please wear your face covering until we are in the therapy room. You will then be able to remove your face covering if you wish.

During the session

  • Please sanitise your hands with alcohol gel upon arrival (provided in the clinic).

  • I have removed soft furnishings from the therapy room, so if you require a cushion please feel free to bring this along with you.

  • If you require a drink, please bring your own along to the session.

  • I have set the chairs at a distance of 2m+ in order to maintain social distance.

  • I will open the roof windows in the room to improve ventilation.

  • You can decide whether to keep your face covering on throughout the session or remove it once we are in the therapy room. I will also respect your wishes as to whether you would prefer me to keep my face covering on or not during the session.

After the session

  • Please ensure that you wear your face covering to leave the building. I will also wear my face covering if this has been removed during the session.

  • Please sanitise your hands with alcohol gel before leaving the therapy room.

  • I will open and close the doors to the therapy room and the main entrance.

Other precautions I have taken include:

  • I have left longer breaks between clients so that I have enough time to clean all hard surfaces and to limit the chances of passing others.

  • When working with children I have allocated resources specific to each client to minimise contamination.

In order to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of yourself and others, please contact me via email/phone (prior to your appointment) if over the last 14-days:

1. You or anyone in your household has a COUGH, FEVER or LOSS OF SMELL/TASTE

2. You have been in contact with anyone who has COVID-19

We can reschedule your appointment once you feel better. It is vital we check this with you because our clinic sees many patients with underlying health conditions who are particularly vulnerable to the adverse symptoms of the COVID-19 virus.

IMPORTANT

Whilst I have taken every precaution at the clinic to mitigate COVID-19 transmission, there may still be a very low risk present.
